Happy New Year ! ❄ Holiday Travel Guide ❄

Happy New Years everybody! Hope you all had a great start to a fresh new year!

The final days before 2013 I did a lot of traveling mainly to Austin, TX and then to Orlando, FL for Harry Potter World & Disney World with my family for Christmas which was an amazing trip by the way!! More pictures to come very soon! Additionally,  I want to share with you guys what I like to wear during my travels and some tips I learned along the way.
 Style #1:
Driving 2-4 Hours to Another City.

Scarf: Forever 21
Top: Saks Fifth Outlet (French Connection)
Watch: Michael Kors
Jewelry: Kendra Scott

 Style #2:
Airport Traveling

Jacket: SheInside.com
Scarf: Target
Boots: Payless Shoes
Duffel Bag: Victoria's Secret

My Fave Airport Style
1.) Comfy Sweatshirts/tunics + jacket- it tends to be very cold in the airplanes!
2.) Leggings
3.) Flat Boots
4.) Watch- always gotta know the time so i don't miss my flight!
5.) Over the shoulder purse w/ zipper- hands- free and things will not fall out especially during the chaotic security inspection.

Tips:
1.) Cardigan/Jacket to keep warm when you least expect it.

2.) Less is more (minimum jewelry)

3.) Fluffy/thick scarf is a great substitute for a travel pillow

4.) Don't overstuff your carry-on purse/bag: rumaging through your purse for your ID or boarding ticket is no fun. As tempting it is to squeeze every bit of space you have, having it clean and organized will make it easier to find things especially if you're on a time crunch.

5.) Leave a little space in your suitcase/carry-on bag if you know you'll be doing a lot of shopping during your trip. I'm definitely glad I made room for all my Harry Potter/Disney souvenirs!

Beauty Essentials to Pack:
As much as I want to bring my entire makeup collection to Florida, I had to be realistic and narrow down to my absolute must-haves. Since I was going to be in Florida for 5 days, I thought one eyshadow palette would suffice and the fact that it came with a highlighter, blush and lip gloss was so convenient! I have a lot of travel-sized beauty items that I got for free from Sephora (ex: Lancome mascara, POREfessional, Too Facedeye shadow insurance) through their Beauty Insiders memberships so I definitely recommend you guys to take advantage of that. It's very convenient to have sample sizes for traveling.
Above:

Bronzer: The Balm Cosmetics, Bahama Mama
Lip Stuff: Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait, Bare Essentials gloss, Maybelline Baby Lips
Eyebrow Gel: Mirabella
Eyebrow Kit: NYX

I can't believe its already 2013, but I'm excited for what this year will hold with my career and other new changes that will possibly happen in my life. Wishing you all the best!!

Winter Garden

Even though floral tends to be trendier during the spring/summer time, I adore the navy color combo with the pale flowers and felt that it was still appropriate for this season. I'm a girly girl at heart so I always love wearing fun, feminine pieces that reflect my personality. These pants are also among my favorite colored bottoms, because it is such a gorgeous blue color and even though it is quite bold, it is still a versatile in many ways. To finish my look, I added my Kendra Scott jewelry of course. The peach coral earrings are my most beloved piece!

Hope you all have an amazing week!!
